Catering services will be suspended in residences up to and including Thursday, 16 November. Food vouchers will be provided.

Preparations for the final exams have been successfully concluded at the exam centre on the UCT rugby fields in readiness for the first exams that start on Wednesday, 15 November 2017.

Repairs to the north side of the Main Library to address the recent water damage may result in some noise. The south side of the Main Library is not affected, so students are advised to use the postgrad wings until further notice.

UCT Libraries are open today, except for the Knowledge Commons and the Library Learning Lounge. The telephone lines, computers and Wi-Fi are unavailable on the north side due to flood damage. The water leaks are being attended to.

UCT Libraries and all branch libraries are open, except for the Library Learning Lounge and the Knowledge Commons.

The consolidation period is under way and the registrar has released important information about the exams, which start on 15 November.

UCT Libraries and all branch libraries are open, except for the Library Learning Lounge. Madiba Circle (east) from the Sports Centre past the rugby fields to south exit/entrance is closed to vehicles until 30 November. The Jammie Shuttle service is running according to exam timetables, but there may be some disruptions.
