GSB among the world's best

UCT's Graduate School of Business is one of three South African business schools ranked in this year's Aspen Institute list of the world's top 100 business schools that promote sustainable development by integrating social and environmental stewardship into the curricula.

The GSB is ranked 96 while the University of Stellenbosch Business School and Rhodes University Investec Business School are rated 70 and 80, respectively.

The Aspen Institute is a United States-based NGO and invited about 600 business schools around the world to join the survey.

The GSB has also been awarded full accreditation by the prestigious European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), Europe's largest network association in management development.

This means that the GSB now has a five-year European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation. It is one of only two business schools in South Africa to receive accreditation.
