The MBA programme at the Graduate School of Business has been rated the best in South Africa in a local survey.

The survey, conducted by management publication Professional Management Review (PMR), used the feedback from some 478 line managers and HR leaders around South Africa. The UCT GSB received an overall rating of 4.19 points out of a possible five and received the publication's Diamond Arrow Award.

In addition to the PMR Award, the past twelve months have seen the GSB move up in the Financial Times (FT) Global Top 100 MBA Rankings from 66 to 52 in the 2007 survey. It was also rated a global Top 10 leader in executive education and garnered an Award for Excellence in a survey by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).

In June, the GSB was the only African business school admitted to the International University Consortium for Executive Education (UNICON).
