Professor Frank Horwitz, director of the Graduate School of Business (GSB), is the newly elected South African representative to the five member governing body of the Association of African Business Schools (AABS).

The AABS brings together some 20 business school members throughout Africa. It promotes excellence in business and management education in Africa by supporting graduate business schools through capacity building, collaboration and quality improvement.

AABS members also focus on developing academic leadership and managerial skills to improve the practice of management in Africa.

'I am very honoured by the appointment and am looking forward to contributing towards building networks and good relations between business schools in Africa,' said Horwitz.
