Final step towards Two Oceans

27 March 2006

Tonight, March 27, the last Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon Dream it - Do it workshop takes place at the Sports Science Institute of South Africa (SSISA) in Newlands.

The workshop was introduced by SISSA to help runners make their dreams become a reality as they prepare for the 2006 event. The series, which kicked off in November last year, has been extremely popular and is perceived by many runners as an essential part of the build-up to the race.

Guest speakers at this final workshop include Dave Spence, Chet Sainsbury, Michele Bakker and the Superstars in Training squad. Entry costs R30 and all proceeds are donated to Habitat for Humanity, the official race charity.

The workshop starts at 18h00 and includes Nando's food tasting and a cash bar. It finishes at 21h00 with a lucky draw with some excellent prizes, including two pairs of Nike running shoes, as well as prizes from SSISA, Powerade, Nando's and Runner's World.

Runners wanting to attend the workshops can contact Janine Marshall on 659 5725 or jmarshall@ssisa.com to book their seat.
