Education minister honoured by res

Education minister Naledi Pandor (above) has been made a Life Fellow of Leo Marquard Hall, the men's residence on lower campus. The honour was bestowed on Pandor at Marquard's annual fellowship dinner in October, in recognition of her sterling contributions to the country. Also fêted at the event was sub-warden Sigqibo Nhlapo, made a Marquard fellow for his varied roles in the residence over the five years that he's been there. First-year student David Macleod and senior student Moses Garane were also honoured with awards for their contributions to the life and cachet of the residence.
