Klatzow scoops Molteno medal

THE South African College of Music's Professor Peter Klatzow has received a Molteno Medal from the Cape 300 Foundation at their annual awards function at the Castle of Good Hope last week.

The medals are minted to honour distinguished contributions made by Cape citizens to literature, the visual and performing arts and the natural and cultural environment.

Founded 1n 1950 by Elgin apple farmers Edward and Harry Molteno, the organisation also funds projects to the benefit of the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape Provinces.
