Shave or spray in solidarity

The Health Sciences campus will, once more, play host to the annual CANSA Shavathon. The 2018 theme, Loud in Colour, is a clarion call for South Africans to either shave, spray or donate to show solidarity with those affected by cancer.

The annual event is driven by the staff and students from the Prince Group, a cancer research laboratory lead by Professor Sharon Prince within the Division of Cell Biology.

The 2018 Shavathon will take place at the Barnard Fuller quad, on Thursday, 1 March, between 09:00 and 15:00. Participants are asked to donate R50 when they have their hair sprayed or shaved, but all donations are welcome.
