2022 Retirees Recognition

This year we have the privilege of honouring nearly 100 retirees from across the university, including academic and professional, administrative support and service (PASS) staff. It is an opportunity for us to say a deserved thank you to the staff members who have served UCT for as long as they have, and for their ongoing commitment to building the university we are proud to be a part of today.

“We are here today to celebrate the many lifetimes of service that you have all given to our university and to thank each and every one of you in this room for your commitment and your energy.” – Babalwa Ngonyama, Chair of UCT Council

As is tradition, the fun-filled dinner brought the UCT community together to honour this year’s retirees for their service and to thank them for the many contributions they have made while at the institution.
