UCT Parent Orientation 2024

The Vice-Chancellor interim Emer Prof Daya Reddy invited parents, guardians, and sponsors of first-year students who had received firm offers for studying at UCT in 2024 to Parent Orientation.

Parent Orientation is designed to provide information about the University of Cape Town, our academic programs, and student services. In addition, the program is structured to help parents, guardians, and sponsors of first-year students to understand a new student’s transition to university life and how best to support them.

Invitations were sent out by email in January 2024. The recording of the morning plenary session is available on this page.
