Scientists from the University of Cape Town are part of an international team who have revealed how canny baboons in Cape Town, South Africa, use a sit-and-wait tactic before raiding people's homes in search of food.

UCT student presents solution to food waste
A UCT masters student and her team have won an international innovation competition after creating a solution to minimise food waste through a mobile app. This app, known as Bagzielicous, allows consumers to track the expiry date of perishable items they have purchased to avoid waste.
