Major donation to UCT’s H3D will boost drug discovery and development

UCT alumnus and former chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola, Neville Isdell, has donated the equivalent of about R18 million towards the University of Cape Town’s Drug Discovery and Development Centre, H3D. The generous donation will be used partly for a ground-breaking new project which could ultimately lead to better directed drug dosages for diverse African populations.
