Silent Protest

The Silent Protest Cape Town, which was organised by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation in collaboration with the UCT Sexual Assault Response Team and UCT Survivors, took place at the university on Tuesday, 29 August 2017. The protest seeks to highlight the scourge of gender-based violence in South Africa, to demonstrate solidarity with survivors and to break the pervasive silence that surrounds rape.
