Personal achievement, collective joy

Graduates celebrated personal triumphs and resilience as over 200 Faculty of Science students were capped at the University of Cape Town (UCT) this September. Inside and outside the graduation hall, there were broad smiles, sighs of relief, cheers, hugs, quiet pauses as happy families and university staff, witnessed the culmination of years of hard work. For graduates, it was a time of personal achievement, and the collective atmosphere told a story of an ecosystem that has unleashed human potential.
