The Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Prof Njabulo S Ndebele; the Minister of Arts and Culture, Dr Pallo Jordan; and the Director General, Prof Itumeleng Mosala, will host the Minister's Culture Forum in the Jameson Hall on Friday, September 15. The topic for discussion will be Macro-social Trends in South Africa - Implications for South African culture and identity. The guest speaker will be Joel Netshitenzhe. There may be an opportunity for UCT staff and students to attend this function (the forum takes place during a dinner), if room becomes available. If you would like to be considered for the guest list, please email your name and contact details to Rosina van de Rheede. Please note that this will not guarantee you a place. But if the organisers are able to accommodate you, you will be notified two days before the event.
