Confession cancels case

In the Monday Paper (Vol25#06) we asked for witnesses to come forward following an allegation of a robbery involving a Coin cash van in Library Road, upper campus, on March 20.

According to Steven Ganger, crime investigations manager with Campus Protection Services, no-one came forward. After the driver was re-questioned, he confessed that no robbery had taken place. He will be charged by the South African Police for making a false robbery case.
