With post-exam pressure almost behind them, senior UCT researchers met with Dr Rob Adam, Director General of the Department of Science and Technology, and Anati Canca, General Manager, Science Mission and Human Capital, a visit hosted by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Cheryl de la Rey. The meeting gave UCT researchers a better understanding of government priorities in the fields of science and technology and how the university can support these. Adam also met with Vice-Chancellor Professor Njabulo Ndebele. Adam's and Canca's visit also took in the new Postgraduate Centre and the science and engineering faculties.
