SAX Appeal 2019

Staying true to the University of Cape Town (UCT) tradition, first-year student volunteers took to the streets of Cape Town yesterday to sell the 86th edition of the SAX Appeal magazine. All funds raised from magazine sales go to swell the charity coffers of the Students’ Health and Welfare Centres Organisation (SHAWCO), which focuses on improving health and education in disadvantaged areas of greater Cape Town. Je’nine May was on hand to capture all the excitement on camera.
