The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Michaelis School of Fine Art presents the Graduate Exhibition 2018 at the Hiddingh campus over the next 10 days, with the official opening tomorrow, 5 December, at 18:00.

The annual event, which showcases the work produced by the graduating BA Fine Art class as well as the PGDip Fine Art students, offers the young artists an opportunity to debut themselves at the culmination of a four-year process of learning and experimentation.

The exhibition is curated from the final bodies of the students’ work produced this year, and the opening of the university space allows them to share their creations with the general public.

A comprehensive catalogue of the works of participating students will be on sale for R150 at the official opening.

The exhibition runs from 5 to 14 December, and is open from 10:00 to 16:00 on Mondays to Saturdays at the Hiddingh campus, 31–37 Orange Street, Gardens.
