A mother’s plea to protesting students

You have all worked hard to gain university acceptance – we congratulate you.

When you burn/breakdown needed infrastructure, who replaces it?

You waste money from funds that could help solve some of your problems.

When you throw faeces in living spaces, who cleans it?

You would not ask your parents to clean excreta, why force someone else’s to do it?

There is no need to dehumanize and oppress in order to be heard.

We are saddened by the unnecessary damage and degradation.

You have given a voice to concerns many of us have – we support you.
