Sawyer series kicks off

The Department of Social Anthropology hosted a discussion on Ubuntu and the Law, the first event in its 2009 Sawyer Seminar Series, on 5 August. The series, funded by the US-based Mellon Foundation, will take place over the next 18 months and will investigate four themes - Personhood, the Body and Health and Healing, History and Archiving, and Notions of Nature.
