Tierney fellows show their work

01 June 2009

A group exhibition by the 2008/9 Tierney Fellowship South African Fellows was launched at UCT's Michaelis School of Fine Art on 25 May. The exhibition features the photographic work of emerging artists Francki Burger, Tracy Edser and Robert Watermeyer. The Tierney Fellowship programme ran for the first time in South Africa in 2008 and this exhibition is the result. The fellowship was created in 2003 by the Tierney Family Foundation to find future leaders in the world of photography, and to assist them in overcoming the challenges that they face at the beginning of their careers. The exhibition runs until 5 June.
