PPS boosts UCT Chemistry Dept

09 June 2008

The Professional Provident Society of South Africa (PPS) handed over a cheque for R250 000 to UCT at a function on 21 May.

The funds will be used to boost the Chemistry Refurbishment Project, which is aimed at strengthening the resources of UCT's Chemistry Department.

PPS, the largest multi-disciplinary group of graduate professionals in the world, is a regular donor to UCT. Between 1993 and 2008 PPS has donated just under R700 000 to the university.
