A UCT business science team has finished third in the national finals of the prestigious L'Oreal Brandstorm international marketing competition.
Cape Persuasion, comprising Celeste Adonis, Aletha Jaftha and Melissa Rassie, were beaten by winners L'Afrique Mondiale from the Wits Business School and Team Wilde from Cape Town. L'Afrique will now travel to Paris for the international final. But the UCT team received a consolation prize of a year's supply of movie tickets for members and their partners, as well as a L'Oreal hamper.
