Local award for Manyara

Limelight: GSB alumnus Wallace Manyara (second from left) has won the Black Management Forum Western Cape's Manager of the Year Award

Graduate School of Business alumnus Wallace Manyara has won the Black Management Forum (BMF) Western Cape's Manager of the Year Award.

The award acknowledges and recognises managerial excellence and leadership.

Manyara studied architecture in the UK and recently completed the Associate in Management Course at UCT's Graduate School of Business (GSB). He is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice at the GSB. He is business development manager at Nightingale Associates Architects, a firm he joined in 2004.

The other finalists were Themba Ngada, a marketing manager at the City of Cape Town, and Teral Cullen, director of Project 2010 for the City of Cape Town.

The finalists were nominated by BMF members.
