UCT's Jody Birch makes a beeline for the Tygerberg goal area in their Super League A game on 14 April. UCT won 35-8

The FNB UCT First XV is off to a flyer, getting the better of Tygerberg by 35-8 in their hard-fought Super League A rugby clash on Saturday, 14 April.

The new-look UCT side is now two for two in the 2007 season, having beaten Durbanville-Bellville 37-5 the week before.

UCT tops the Super League A log, one point ahead of archrivals Stellenbosch. UCT has also outscored Maties so far this season (72 to 64) and have conceded only 13 points to Maties' 48.
