Ikey Tigers: First-year students make the most of O-Week.

Campus has come alive during Orientation, or O-Week, as first-year students tuck into fun and games before the serious work starts next week.

One of the aims of O-Week is for clubs and societies to do some soliciting, inviting students to join their activities. But besides the cultural aspects, O-Week also serves to introduce first-year students to the different educational facilities and unique aspects of university life.

But it's not all business.

"The point is to have lots of fun," says Needa Gasant, a fourth-year BSc student and a Nedbank ambassador.
