New caterers in residences

The third-year residences catering contract with Kagiso Khulani Supervison Food Services (KKS) comes to an end on December 31 this year. A tender process for the new contract was conducted during September and October this year and a new company, Royal Sechaba, has been appointed as the contractor for the next three-year period, beginning on January 1, 2005. Student Housing & Residence Life would like to take this opportunity to welcome Royal Sechaba to the UCT residences and also to thank KKS for their nine years of committed service to UCT students in all catering residences. "Together with Royal Sechaba we look forward to introducing some exciting new innovations in our catering services over the next few years."
