Students gain health insights at Wellness Week

The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Student Wellness Week took place in Memorial Hall from 5 to 9 March 2018.

Organised by the Department of Student Affairs, the Wellness Week saw hundreds of students attending health and wellness talks, wellness screenings and HIV/AIDS testing and counselling sessions.

Dr Memory Muturiki, the director of the Student Wellness Service at UCT, explained the importance of the Wellness Week and encouraged students to take advantage of the free services on offer.
