“During this month, I reflect on the role we played and continue to play as women to protect our democracy and to contribute to transformation,” said University of Cape Town Chancellor, Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe when addressing guests at a Women’s Day luncheon.
The event was hosted by deputy vice-chancellors Professor Sue Harrison and Professor Elelwani Ramugondo in honour of the recipients of UCT’s ‘For Womxn By Womxn’ research grants on Thursday, 10 August. Themed “The future we want”, the event was held at the UCT Graduate School of Business Conference Centre.
