UCT graduate advocates for teen mothers in Africa

Cwenga Koyana, who recently received a BA (Hons) in Film and Television Studies during the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) March 2023 graduation, is on a mission to help teen mothers and uplift young women in Africa.

Koyana recently returned from the UNESCO and Women@Dior Global Conference in Paris, where she was a guest speaker. She was reporting back on the progress that her non-profit company has made since winning the mentoring and educational programme’s Dream for Change competition in March 2022.
