To ensure the safety and wellbeing of the campus community, last year the University Council approved, in principle, a proposal requiring that all staff and students provide acceptable proof of having been vaccinated against COVID-19. This draft policy was published in full and is still undergoing further consultations among UCT stakeholders. A final decision on the policy will be made by the UCT Council.
