University of Cape Town PhD candidate, Alexios Vicatos, graduated with an M.Sc. degree in Supramolecular Chemistry in December 2019. As a student, he has also combined his love of science and music. Alexios plays the organ at graduation ceremonies and has restored and plays the carillon, a unique musical instrument which rings 39 tower bells in Cape Town’s City Hall.
