“Inspiring, unique law reformer” honoured

Justice Yvonne Mokgoro, the first woman appointed to the Constitutional Court, received an honorary degree from the Faculty of Law at its graduation ceremony on Saturday, 7 April 2018 in Memorial Hall.

In his introductory address, ceremony orator Professor Danwood Chirwa of the Department of Public Law, described Justice Mokgoro as an inspiring, unique law reformer who came from humble beginnings.
