Faculties of Commerce and Science graduation ceremony

More than 290 faculties of Commerce and Science graduands assembled in Memorial Hall on Thursday, 5 April for the second round of Commerce and Science faculties’ graduation ceremonies in the April 2018 season.

Outgoing Vice-Chancellor Dr Max Price presided over the ceremony, which also featured Professor Mark New – the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Climate Change and the Director of the African Climate and Development Initiative at UCT – as the guest speaker.
 

This graduation season comprises a total of 14 ceremonies, and will end on Tuesday, 10 April. More than 4 000 students would have graduated by the end of this graduation season.
