New funding platform

The Research Office has subscribed to Research Professional Africa, an online platform that will allow UCT researchers access to the latest global coverage of research funding programmes, innovation policies and the latest science and technology news.

By joining the site, members can search for funding opportunities in their fields of interest, see what funders are calling for, refer research opportunities to their colleagues and receive email alerts, among other features.

"This is an essential resource and we encourage all UCT researchers to take full advantage of the funding opportunities, which span the full spectrum of research disciplines and sponsors," said Dr Marilet Sienaert, director of the Research Office.
