Toms memorial lecture

The Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Molefe Sefularo, will deliver the inaugural Ivan Toms Annual Memorial Lecture on 18 March at the UCT Medical School's New Learning Centre Auditorium in Anzio Rd.

The event starts at 18h00. The lecture coincides with the week of Human Rights Day, and will celebrate Toms' legacy as a human rights activist, from his role as a doctor in the SACLA clinic in Crossroads, through his management roles in the National Progressive Primary Health Care Network and SHAWCO, to his most recent post as director of health services in Cape Town.
