The Employees Union has elected a new executive committee at its annual general meeting on 26 March. The committee is, by large, the same as that of last year, with the exception of Chris Tobler, who opted not to stand for another term. George du Plessis has resigned due to work commitments, while Linda Haynes and Razia Parker have left UCT.

The new committee members are Gary Gabriels, Hein Kleinbooi, Frans Mamabolo, Andrea Plos, Eugene Williams, and Catherine Wynsculley.

In the picture are, from left ( front) Williams, Plos and union organiser Yasmin Fazel-Ellahi, and at back, union administrator Alfred Nqotole and Gabriels.
