One for the road

This year's retirees are Kirsch, Mekwa and Molteno, as well as Dr Abdul-Basier Fataar (nuclear medicine) and Dr Ashley Robins (pharmacology), who couldn't make the shindig. To cap his nearly five decades at UCT as a student and faculty member, Kirsch will deliver the Health Sciences' valedictory lecture thisweek,inthis week,in, in which he plans to speak on his philosophy and ideas about clinical care, education and scholarship. The lecture takes place on Wednesday, November 30, at 17h30 in the Student Learning Centre Lecture Theatre, Anatomy Building, Faculty of Health.
