The University of Cape Town (UCT) celebrated the capping of over 100 doctoral graduates on Friday, 22 July 2022 with the first live and in person PhD graduation ceremony since the start of the global Covid-19 pandemic. The joyous event was held inside the Sarah Baartman Hall and graduates received their degrees during morning and afternoon sessions
The morning graduation ceremony celebrated PhD graduates from the faculties of Humanities and Health Sciences.
The UCT community sends congratulations and well wishes to all PhD students who graduated in July 2022.
