The University of Cape Town (UCT) rounded off the second day of spring graduations by celebrating its Faculty of Humanities graduates at 18:00 on Tuesday, 8 September 2026.
The evening ceremony honoured graduates whose time at UCT has been marked by intellectual engagement, creativity, critical inquiry and a commitment to understanding people and society. It was a moment for graduates and their loved ones to reflect on the journey that brought them to this milestone.
As they embark on new journeys, the graduates join a growing community of UCT alumni whose work and ideas continue to influence communities, institutions and society.
The UCT community congratulates the Faculty of Humanities graduates of Spring 2026 and wishes them well as they take the next steps in their academic, professional and creative journeys.
