The University of Cape Town (UCT) continued its spring graduation celebrations with the second Faculty of Commerce ceremony, held jointly with the Faculty of Law at 14:00 on Tuesday, 8 September 2026.

The ceremony brought together graduates from Commerce and Law to mark the culmination of years of academic commitment, intellectual development and hard work. Across both faculties, graduates have developed the knowledge and skills to engage with the institutions, economies, legal systems and wider social challenges that shape society.

For the graduates, the ceremony marked an important academic milestone and the beginning of new professional, academic and entrepreneurial journeys. Surrounded by family, friends, academics and the wider UCT community, they celebrated the achievements that brought them to this moment.

The UCT community congratulates the graduates and looks forward to contributions to their professions, communities and society more broadly.
