The University of Cape Town (UCT) celebrated the accomplishments of its Faculty of Engineering & the Built Environment (EBE) graduates at the spring graduations, with the ceremony taking place at 18:00 on Monday, 7 September 2026.
The evening ceremony recognised the hard work and achievements of graduates whose studies span engineering, the built environment and disciplines that contribute to how we design, build and transform the world around us.
For these graduates, the ceremony represented more than the completion of their studies. It marked the beginning of new opportunities to apply their expertise to some of the complex challenges facing cities, communities, industries and societies.
The UCT community congratulates EBE graduates of Spring 2026 and looks forward to the contributions they will make through innovation, research, professional practice and leadership.
