03 March 2021 | Photo UCT.Congratulations on becoming part of the UCT community. Orientation is a time of celebration and new beginnings. We hope to provide you with all the information and details necessary for a successful transition into your first year and your life at UCT.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Orientation 2021 is online. While we would have liked to welcome you in person, we will do so virtually. We acknowledge that this may be challenging and but want you to know that we are walking this journey with you.
There are staff, student leaders, including SRC, faculty councils, residence house committees and orientation leaders who will welcome you online or in the residences.
Physical distance and health protocols will be applied and students in residence accommodation will need to sign a commitment of adherence to COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Please regularly check the relevant webpages for up-to-date information in this regard.
