UCT’s student entrepreneurs have done it again – scoring top honours in the Entrepreneurship Intervarsity competition and the ABSA Innovation Challenge.

Researchers drew on sociomateriality as a theoretical and analytical lens to explore GenAI practices in teaching and learning at UCT.

For their role in conceptualising the UCT Chatbot project and supporting its successful implementation, Dr Riashna Sithaldeen and Dr Deepti Charitar were named recipients of the 2025 VC’s Service Excellence Award.
