Juta's & Company bookshop, the official publisher of the UCT Press imprint, has opened a new flagship bookstore in Claremont.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Max Price was a guest speaker and did the ribbon-cutting honours.
Price said Juta's should be commended for identifying a niche in the book-selling market.
UCT students are a key target market for the store.
