UCT prolific researcher awarded International Science Council fellowship
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the promotion of science as a global public good, the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Emeritus Professor Mike Meadows has recently been awarded a fellowship of the International Science Council (ISC).

PhD candidate’s innovation to improve health outcomes for women and young girls
Sexual and reproductive ill-health accounts for one third of the global disease burden among women and adolescent girls of reproductive age. Despite many advances in access to healthcare, thousands of women and girls who live in remote, resource-constrained communities still struggle to access the care they need.
