Elections for the Students' Representative Council (SRC), Commerce Student Council (CSC), Engineering & the Built Environment Student Council (EBESC) and the Science Student Council (SSC) will be hosted on 17 and 18 September 2026.
You are encouraged to read through the 2026 SRC Election Manifesto Booklet, which brings together the candidates’ manifestos and gives you an opportunity to understand what they stand for, the issues they hope to address and the changes they want to make on your behalf.
Voting
When logging in to eBallot, you may have access to multiple ballots, depending on how many constituencies you are a member of.
Voting opens on Thursday, 17 September at 00:00 and closes on Friday, 18 September 2026 at 23:59.
Election Carnival
Because elections should be more than just clicking a ballot, the Department of Student Affairs will bring the Election Carnival to campus at the Plaza on 17 September between 10:00 and 15:00. You are invited to bring your friends and take a break between classes. There will be popcorn, games, a jumping castle and super cute voter merchandise to take home with you. It’s a chance to connect, have some fun and get into the election spirit before you cast your vote.
Please remember: candidates must follow the rules. Candidates are not allowed to campaign before the dedicated campaign days (14 to 16 September) or during voting days (17 to 18 September), and no door-to-door campaigning is permitted in residences. Harassment, intimidation and invading student spaces without consent is strictly prohibited. If you notice any misconduct, you can report it by filling out the complaints form.
Stay informed. Ask the questions that matter. Know your candidates.
