Dear colleagues and students
Applications are invited for the 2026 University of Cape Town (UCT) Teaching Innovation and Curriculum Change Grant. The grant supports individual academics, teaching teams and departments who are working on initiatives that strengthen teaching and learning at UCT and contribute to the goals of UCT’s Strategy 2030.
Funding is intended to support projects focused on teaching practice, curriculum or course design and redesign, and improvements to the student learning experience. This may include the development of digital learning materials for blended or online learning, as well as the creation or use of open educational resources.
A limited number of grants of up to R35 000 are available to support these projects.
