National Research Foundation (NRF) Announcements

Important announcement and list of open NRF calls.
National Research Foundation's new grants management system: NRF Connect

The NRF has introduced NRF Connect, which is a new integrated platform that includes all grants management functions from call provisioning, applications, reviews, and awarding of grants, to post award management and tracking.
Given the size of the NRF Connect platform the roll out of the various sub-modules will occur in phases. Presently, only the call provisioning (applications) sub-module platform is live and available for the research community to start responding to the open funding calls included in this announcement.

Users have found the new platform user friendly and, most importantly, the process of migrating CV content from the previous system is very simple and straightforward.

Prospective applicants are required to register on NRF Connect by following the steps in the video and/or guides located here. Users will receive ongoing support to assist in the change management process. For any queries, please contact Mbasa Mguye.
